Woodland Park Man Charged with Attempted Murder, Accused of Assaulting Woman in Totowa, NJ

Totowa NJ Sexual Assault AttorneysTotowa NJ police arrested a man who allegedly assaulted a worker at a local QuickChek store.

The attack reportedly happened around 3:00 a.m. According to law enforcement, the 34-year-old suspect entered the QuickChek located on Union Boulevard in Totowa, New Jersey. Once inside the store, the suspect allegedly approached a female employee and attacked her.

The suspect was reportedly armed with a knife, which he is said to have used to repeatedly slash the victim. The suspect also allegedly punched the victim in the face.

When Totowa police officers arrived at the store, they found the victim bleeding from her head and suffering from injuries to her face and hands.

The victim was rushed to St. Joseph s Regional Medical Center in Paterson, where she received medical treatment for her injuries.

Meanwhile, police officers from Totowa, Paterson, Little Falls, and Woodland Park worked together to canvas the area and find the suspect. Investigators learned that the suspect was a regular customer at the QuickChek, which made it easier for law enforcement to locate him at his apartment in Woodland Park, New Jersey.

The suspect was placed under arrest and charged with multiple crimes, including attempted murder, aggravated assault, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.

After being arrested and processed, the suspect was taken to the Passaic County Jail. He was being held at the jail in lieu of $750K bail.
