Six Teenagers Accused of Robbing Delivery People in Clifton, New Jersey

Clifton NJ Armed Robbery LawyersPolice in Clifton NJ recently arrested six teens who are accused of committing multiple armed robberies of people delivering Chinese food.

According to Clifton officials, the suspects include an 18-year-old Clifton man, three 17-year-old boys from Passaic NJ, and a 14-year-old boy who is also from Passaic, New Jersey.

Both robberies reportedly occurred during December 2015. The teenage suspects allegedly committed the robberies against individuals who delivered Chinese food throughout Clifton, NJ.

One victim was allegedly robbed and attacked at the intersection of Third Street and Sylvan Avenue. He reportedly sustained significant injuries as a result of being attacked with a pipe during the robbery.

Clifton detectives eventually captured the six teens. Two of the suspects were located and arrested at a residence on Howe Avenue in Passaic, NJ. The four other suspects were arrested by Clifton detectives a few days later.

The suspects face a number of criminal charges, including armed robbery, theft, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.

Clifton law enforcement believes that the suspects may have committed similar robberies and attacks in neighboring towns, so it is possible that additional criminal charges could be forthcoming.

After being arrested and processed, the adult suspect was taken to the Passaic County Jail. Meanwhile, the five juvenile suspects were transported to the Essex County Juvenile Detention Center.
