Paterson NJ law enforcement recently arrested a local man who allegedly attempted to lure children.
The suspect is a 27-year-old man who resides on Main Street in Paterson, New Jersey. According to Passaic County prosecutors, the suspect tried to persuade at least three underage kids to have sex with him and give him nude photos.
The suspect allegedly offered gift cards to one of the young victims in exchange for sex.
The suspect has been charged with numerous sex crimes, including luring, attempted sexual assault, and endangering the welfare of a child.
If the suspect is convicted on the very serious sex offense charges, he could face significant prison time. Additionally, the suspect would likely be subject to Megan s Law sex offender registration requirements after serving any prison sentence.
The Paterson Police Department and the Passaic County Prosecutor s Office have issued an alert to the public to notify detectives about any sex crimes.
