Former Wayne, NJ High School Football Star Pleads Not Guilty to Rape

The suspect is a 22-year-old man who used to live in Wayne, NJ and attended Wayne Hills High School. The suspect was a student at the University of North Carolina-Charlotte, but he was dismissed from the school after being arrested and charged with the sex crime.

The suspect has been accused of violently attacking and sexually assaulting his girlfriend in February at an on-campus apartment. The suspect allegedly hit the victim, a 23-year-old woman, repeatedly in the face. He then allegedly raped her three times.

The suspect recently appeared in a North Carolina criminal courtroom and pleaded not guilty to the sexual assault charges against him. According to media reports, the suspect rejected a plea deal from the prosecutor s office.

If the suspect is convicted at trial, he could be sentenced to decades in prison.
