East Orange NJ Man Accused of Murdering Paterson Resident

Paterson NJ Stabbing SuspectPolice recently arrested an East Orange man accused of murdering someone in Paterson, NJ.

The fatal incident occurred around 11:00 p.m. on March 27, 2017. According to law enforcement officials, the 19-year-old suspect stabbed the 52-year-old victim in a basement apartment of a building located on the 200 block of 20th Avenue in Paterson, New Jersey.

The Paterson Police Department received a report of the stabbing and dispatched police officers to the scene. By the time that Paterson NJ cops got to the apartment, the suspect was gone.

The victim was a resident of Paterson, New Jersey. When police found him, he was reportedly suffering from multiple stab wounds.

Paterson NJ detectives and Passaic County Prosecutor s Office detectives investigated the homicide and quickly identified the suspect as the possible culprit.

Now the suspect is in police custody after Woodland Park cops arrested him in connection with an unrelated incident.

The suspect faces numerous criminal charges, including aggravated manslaughter, unlawful possession of a weapon, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
