Clifton Man Pleads Guilty to Sexual Assault of Passaic Gentleman s Club Dancer

Passaic NJ Sexual Assault SuspectA Clifton NJ man is headed to prison after pleading guilty to the sexual assault of a dancer at a gentleman s club in Passaic, New Jersey.

The suspect is a 39-year-old man from Clifton, New Jersey. According to law enforcement officials, the suspect was one of 10 people who sexually assaulted a 26-year-old go-go dancer at Mr. B s Gentleman s Club on Wall Street in Passaic, NJ.

The assault occurred during a late-night party on November 5, 2012. The victim later told authorities that she was incapacitated while the suspect, and the other alleged attackers, raped her.

The suspect was placed under arrest and charged with multiple sex crimes, including first degree aggravated sexual assault.

The suspect avoided trial in Passaic County Superior Court in Paterson NJ by reaching a plea deal with the Passaic County Prosecutor s Office. The suspect pleaded guilty to the aggravated sexual assault charges; in exchange for the guilty plea, prosecutors agreed to drop the remaining charges and recommend that the suspect be sentenced to a term of incarceration of 12 years in state prison.

After the suspect has served his prison sentence and is released from NJ State Prison, he will be required to register as a sex offender under Megan s Law.
