A report found on NorthJersey.com stated that in Clifton a 17 year old Passaic resident is facing attempted murder charges after police said he shot at three other teens on Clifton Ave, Monday.
The teens were standing near Arthur Street around 3 p.m. when a car with three Passaic youths approached and an argument broke out among the two groups of teens. A police spokesman, Sgt. Robert Bracken, also stated the teens did not appear to know each other.
The Passaic youths drove off but returned as the Clifton teens were entering a car. The driver parked, exited his vehicle and opened fire with a handgun, Bracken said. No one was hit.

The passengers, aged 16 and 17, were charged with possession of a handgun, obstruction and possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose.
