Wayne police are asking for the public’s help in identifying three people wanted in two separate crimes that happened at Willowbrook Mall.
In the latest case Thursday, police said a man cut the security cables and grabbed five handbags from the Michael Kors section of Lord & Taylor around 8:30 p.m. The man fled, but dropped the goods after a brief struggle in the parking lot.
Police described the thief as about 6-feet tall, 175 pounds with a trimmed beard. He got in the passenger side of a dark blue SUV with New Jersey license plates.
Anyone with information on that case was asked to call Detective Dennis Ferray at 973-633-3535.
In a case on Feb. 18, a man and woman used fraudulent credit cards to buy about $450 worth of merchandise from the Lord & Taylor, according to police.
Police asked anyone with information on the second crime to call Michael O’Rourke at 973-633-3537.
Authorities also released security camera images from both cases.
