Wayne police seek tips in Willowbrook Mall investigations, Report says

Wayne police are asking for the public’s help in identifying three people wanted in two separate crimes that happened at Willowbrook Mall.

In the latest case Thursday, police said a man cut the security cables and grabbed five handbags from the Michael Kors section of Lord & Taylor around 8:30 p.m. The man fled, but dropped the goods after a brief struggle in the parking lot.

Police described the thief as about 6-feet tall, 175 pounds with a trimmed beard. He got in the passenger side of a dark blue SUV with New Jersey license plates.

Anyone with information on that case was asked to call Detective Dennis Ferray at 973-633-3535.

In a case on Feb. 18, a man and woman used fraudulent credit cards to buy about $450 worth of merchandise from the Lord & Taylor, according to police.

Police asked anyone with information on the second crime to call Michael O’Rourke at 973-633-3537.

Authorities also released security camera images from both cases.
