Traffic stop leads to arrests of Bronx men with fake credit cards, police say

A traffic stop led to the arrests of three Bronx men carrying fake credit cards and identification and marijuana, police said.

Lyndhurst Police stopped a car Friday night driven by Thierno Diallo, 22, and occupied by Abdul Abdullah, 22, and Joel Lucca, 24, on Orient Way near Valley Brook Avenue.

The vehicle was swerving and the men weren’t wearing seatbelts, Lyndhurst Police Capt. John Valente said.

They were charged with possession of fraudulent credit cards and identifications and possession of marijuana. Diallo was also issued several motor vehicle summonses.

All three were sent to Bergen County Jail. Bail was set at $30,000 for Abdullah and Lucca and $35,000 for Diallo.
