Paterson NJ police recently arrested three men accused of distributing drugs in the city.
The suspects are a 43-year-old Paterson man, a 36-year-old Paterson man, and a 38-year-old Brooklyn NY man.
Detectives with the Paterson Police Department Narcotics Division started an investigation after receiving information about illegal drug activity.
Police officers eventually obtained a search warrant for a residence located at 217 Park Avenue, near East 18th Street. A search of the home allegedly turned up 7,600 glassine envelopes of heroin, 300 grams of raw heroin, 45 baggies of crack cocaine, two bags filled with crack cocaine, 750 grams of marijuana, and around 400 Ecstasy pills.
After the drug raid, Paterson Police Director Jerry Speziale issued a statement and said that Paterson law enforcement is committed to dismantling and disrupting illegal drug sales and the organizations responsible for the distribution.
The three suspects have been charged with numerous drug crimes, including distribution of heroin, distribution of cocaine, and distribution of marijuana.
