Paterson NJ Teen Charged with Murder for Fatal Shooting

Paterson New Jersey Murder ChargesPolice recently arrested a Paterson NJ teen accused of shooting, and killing, a man on a city street.

The suspect is a 19-year-old resident of Paterson, New Jersey. According to law enforcement officials, the suspect used a handgun to shoot two men who were walking near the intersection of Montgomery Street and Straight Street in Paterson, NJ.

One of the victims, a 19-year-old Paterson man, died as a result of his gunshot wounds. The other victim, a 20-year-old Paterson NJ man, suffered serious injuries in the shooting and required emergency medical attention at an area hospital.

Law enforcement investigated the fatal shooting and soon identified the suspect as the possible culprit. Paterson police detectives then went to the suspect s residence on North 4th Street and placed him under arrest.

The suspect faces numerous criminal charges, including first degree murder, attempted murder, aggravated assault, and weapons offenses. Additionally, the suspect has been charged with drug distribution because police allegedly found him with a large quantity of illegal narcotics when they arrested him.

After being arrested and processed, the suspect was remanded to the Passaic County Jail in Paterson, New Jersey.
