Paterson New Jersey Police Shut Down Alleged Heroin Mill

According to law enforcement, the raid went down at a home located on Jane Street in Paterson around 6:30 p.m. The raid was the culmination of a major investigation conducted by the Paterson Police Department Narcotics Division. Authorities began the investigation after receiving reports of a heroin mill operating in the city.

Paterson NJ investigators eventually obtained search warrants and arrest warrants and then executed the warrants at the Paterson residence.

During a search of the house, police reportedly found a large quantity of illegal drugs, including 319 glassines of heroin, several baggies filled with crack cocaine, multiple baggies of MDMA (also known as Molly ), and more than 100 grams of marijuana. Additionally, police allegedly discovered more than 7,000 empty glassines that were likely intended for use in drug trafficking.

Paterson police arrested eight people who have been linked to the operation of the heroin mill. All of the suspects are reportedly from Paterson NJ and have been charged with various drug crimes, including distribution of heroin, possession of heroin, possession of crack cocaine, and marijuana possession. Additionally, some of the suspects have been charged with obstruction of justice for allegedly destroying evidence.

After the arrests were made, the Paterson police director issued a statement and commended the investigating officers for working tirelessly in locating and closing the operation down to make a safer city.
