Police in Passaic NJ recently arrested a man who allegedly stabbed someone at residence in New York.
According to the Passaic County Sheriff s Office, the suspect stabbed a person in the back and stomach in Staten Island in November 2015. NY law enforcement had an arrest warrant but was not able to locate the suspect until now.
Once NY State officials learned of the suspect s location, they tipped off the Passaic County Sheriff s Office.
Detectives with the sheriff s office later found the suspect at a home located on Aspen Place in Passaic, New Jersey.
The 42-year-old suspect, who lives in Staten Island, NY, faces assault charges in New York. He has also been charged with being a fugitive from justice.
After being placed under arrest and processed, the suspect was moved to the Passaic County Jail in Paterson, NJ. He was being held there while awaiting extradition back to New York.
