Elmwood Park Preschool Teacher Threatens to Shoot up School, Charged with Terroristic Threats

According to police, a New Jersey preschool teacher was just arrested for threatening to shoot up the school. On Friday, Gina Schroeder, 38 of Nutley allegedly made the threat at The Goddard School in Elmwood Park where she is the lead teacher in the infant classroom. Schroeder allegedly said, “One day I’m gonna come here and shoot it up.” 

A staff member also told police that Schroeder said that she owned guns. Officers from the Nutley Police Department later searched her home and seized three (3) guns which were legally owned. The 38 year-old was arrested and charged with making terroristic threats, and illegal possession of prescription drugs.
