Police Arrest Paterson NJ Stabbing Suspect

Paterson NJ Attempted Murder ChargesA Paterson New Jersey man faces attempted murder charges after he allegedly stabbed someone on a city street.

The suspect is a 30-year-old resident of Paterson, NJ. According to Passaic County prosecutors, the suspect used a knife to attack the victim while the victim walked in a Paterson neighborhood. The violent incident reportedly occurred around 8:30 a.m.

Afterwards, an unknown person drove the 38-year-old victim to nearby St. Joseph s Regional Medical Center and promptly left the scene before being questioned by police. Meanwhile, doctors treated the victim for his stab wounds. The victim was later listed in critical condition at the medical facility.

The Paterson Police Department and the Passaic County Prosecutor s Office investigated the assault and eventually identified the suspect. Police then captured the suspect while he walked near Roberto Clemente Park in Paterson, New Jersey.

The suspect has been charged with numerous crimes, including attempted murder, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and endangering the welfare of a child. It is unclear at this time why the suspect has been charged with child endangerment.
