Police in Pennsylvania recently arrested a Paterson New Jersey man accused of sexually assaulting a minor.
The suspect is a 44-year-old resident of Paterson, NJ. According to PA law enforcement officials, the suspect raped a 13-year-old boy at a house in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
Pennsylvania police learned about the alleged sexual assault and opened an investigation into the suspect. During an interview by law enforcement, the suspect reportedly admitting to committing the sex crime.
The suspect faces numerous criminal charges, including rape, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, sexual assault, and indecent assault. If the suspect is convicted on the sexual offense charges, he would likely be sentenced to a lengthy term of incarceration in Pennsylvania State Prison.
Additionally, the suspect could be required to register as a convicted sex offender.
While awaiting resolution of the criminal case, the suspect is being held at the Lehigh County Jail on a $150K bail amount.
