15-year-old local resident Armoni Sexton, a student and talented member of the varsity basketball team at the Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology, was killed in a fatal drive-by shooting that occurred at approximately 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 18th. Sexton was gathered with a few of his friends near the corner liquor store at 230 Rosa Parks Boulevard in Paterson s Fourth Ward before the devastating turn of events.
Multiple shots were reportedly fired from a vehicle passing by, one of which inflicted fatal injuries on the rising basketball star.
