Pair charged in Woodland Park, Little Falls robberies, report says

Allegedly two men from Woodland Park and Totowa were arrested on Tuesday for a string of robberies.

Edward Doherty, 19, and Yivank Rios-Roasario, 18, of Woodland Park and Totowa respectively, allegedly robbed the Gas Star gas station in Woodland Park Monday night, with one hinting he had a gun and the other holding a baseball bat. A few hours later, early on Tuesday morning, a similar robbery occurred at a 7-11 store on Rifle Camp Road and then a third robbery at a Quik Chek in Little Falls shortly after that.

Police in Woodland Park stopped a car immediately after the robberies that was traveling at a high rate of speed, authorities said. Doherty and Rios-Roasario were inside, as were a baseball bat, gloves and masks. Both men also had a large amount of cash they could not account for, police said.
Both were each being held on $50,000 bail.
