According to a story found on NJ.com, police in Wayne are asking the help of the public to help identify a man who allegedly stole $5,000 worth in watches at the Coach outlet store in the Willowbrook Mall.
According to Captain Lawrence Martin, the multiple thefts occurred on Dec. 10, Jan. 6 and Jan. 11.
The suspect would ask the sales clerk for assistance with an item on a top shelf and once the clerk was occupied he would then grab the watches on a table and leave, Martin said.
Fifteen watches /were taken.
