According to an article written in the Paterson Times, there was an early morning shooting on Ellison Street left a man wounded on December 1,2014.
The victim was in the area of Ellison and Prospect street at around 2:11 a.m. on Monday when gunfire rang out.
Police quickly responded to the scene finding a vehicle was attempting to leave the area. An officer pulled over the vehicle at the intersection of Main and Market streets locating a gunshot would victim.
Ambulance was called to transport the victim to St. Joseph s Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Police have not released any further information about this shooting.
