In Gloucester County, officers arrested seven people in connection with the thefts on Tuesday morning of four all- terrain vehicles and three motorcycles, according to police in Monroe Township
Police say the group committed the these thefts by loading the vehicles on a rented U-Haul truck and transporting them bacj to a Walnut Street residence in Monroe
Authorities arrested Yusef A. Abdullah, 19, of Williamstown; Marquese D. Battle, 24, of Franklin Township; Jennifer Bock, 23, of Williamstown; Dean M. Brown, 24, of Paulsboro; Robert F. McPeak, 28, of Williamstown; Naja I. Pignatt, 20; and William M. Scott, 30, of Williamstown, all on charges of receiving stolen property.
Jimmie C. Bock, 23, of Williamstown, is additionally sought in connection with the alleged theft after police say he fled on one of the stolen motorcycles. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
The alleged thefts occurred in East Greenwich, Mantua, Washington and Winslow townships.
Abdullah, Bock, Brown, Pignatt and Scott were placed in Salem County Correctional Facility. Bock and Scott are being held on 10% of $10,000 bail. Abdullah, Brown and Pignatt are being held on 10% of $5,000 bail.
Abdullah is additionally being held on $1,000 cash-or-bond bail on possession of marijuana charges.
Brown is additionally being held on $1,000 cash-or-bond bail for an alleged municipal ordinance violation and $2,588.94 in unpaid child support.
Police say additional charges of burglary, criminal trespass, theft and conspiracy charges are pending from the different townships.
